PRESIDENT CLINTON NAMES DAVID A. NASATIR AS A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE STATE JUSTICE INSTITUTE
The President today announced his intent to nominate David A. Nasatir to serve as a public member of the Board of Directors of The State Justice Institute.
Mr. Nasatir, of Whitemarsh, Pennsylvania, practices law at Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel, where he specializes in handling asset purchase and sale, commercial lender finance, real estate development finance, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He is currently serving on the Montgomery County Development Corporation Board of Directors, is the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Partners for Healthy Babies, and is a member of the Harleysville Rotary Club. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy, and is the Solicitor for the George Washington Carver Community Center. Mr. Nasatir is a member of the Executive Committee of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and is a member of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Nasatir received his B.A. degree from Georgetown University and his J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
The State Justice Institute was established to award grants to improve the quality of justice in the State courts, to facilitate better coordination and information sharing between State and Federal courts, and to foster innovative, efficient solutions to common problems faced by all courts. It is a private, non-profit organization.
