Statement by the Press Secretary

President Clinton will not visit Joypura, on Monday, March 20, 2000, because of concerns raised by the Secret Service. He will maintain a full schedule in Bangladesh, during which he will meet with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the opposition leader and President Shahabuddin, and attend an official dinner. The President will meet with villagers from Joypura in Dhaka.
