PRESIDENT CLINTON NAMES JEREMY BERNARD TO THE PRESIDENT'S ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON THE ARTS OF THE JOHN F. KENNEDY CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS The President announced today his intention to appoint Jeremy
Bernard to the President's Advisory Committee on the Arts of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Mr. Jeremy Bernard, of West Hollywood, California, is Director of Government Relations at Falcon Cable TV, one of the nation's largest cable television operators. He is also the Executive Director of the Nathanson Family Foundation, which distributes grants to numerous charities in Southern California; and is on the Board of Mapletown Investment Company. Mr. Bernard serves on the board of Cable Positive and has participated in the National Holocaust Memorial Museum Project and has chaired numerous civic events in the Los Angeles area.
The President's Advisory Committee on the Arts of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts advises and consults with the Board of Trustees for the Center, and makes recommendations to the Board regarding existing and prospective cultural activities to be featured at the center. In addition, the members of the Committee assist in the Center's fundraising efforts and act as liaisons to performance groups and performing arts centers throughout the nation.
