STATEMENT BY THE VICE PRESIDENT

Tipper and I were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dan Dutko.

Dan was a dear friend, a trusted adviser, and a tireless worker for his family, his party and his country. Though a successful businessman, he never rested on his laurels. Instead he focused his energies on helping the Democratic Party and its ideals.

In practically every major effort I have been involved in, Dan has always been there with his insight and guidance. I will always remember the boundless energy and enthusiasm he brought to every task and challenge, inspiring others to do the same.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Deborah, and his two children, Matthew and Jonathan.
