STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY

Working Visit by Australian Prime Minister John Howard

President Clinton will meet with and host a working lunch for Australian Prime Minister John Howard on July 12. During his visit to Washington July 12-13, Prime Minister Howard will also meet with other Administration officials and Congressional members.

The President and Prime Minister Howard will discuss common security concerns and economic and trade issues.

Prime Minister Howard will also visit New York and Boston during his stay in the United States.
