STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY

Official Working Visit by Korean President Kim Dae-Jung

President Clinton will host Kim Dae-Jung, President of the Republic of Korea, for an Official Working Visit to the United States from July 2-5. President Kim will spend July 2-3 in Washington, D.C. and will visit the President at the White House on July 2.

The President and President Kim will discuss a full range of issues, including security, economic, and political matters.

In addition to visiting Washington, President Kim will spend July 3-4 in Philadelphia, where he will receive the Philadelphia Liberty Medal.
