PRESIDENT CLINTON NAMES JOHN KIMBALL AS MEMBER OF THE UTAH RECLAMATION MITIGATION AND CONSERVATION COMMISSION
President Clinton announced today his intent to appoint John Kimball to serve as a Member of the Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission.
Mr. John F. Kimball, of Huntsville, Utah, is currently the Director of the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, with which he has held a variety of positions since 1965. Mr. Kimball has been Assistant Director for Wildlife Field Operations, Wildlife Program Chief, Regional Wildlife Program Manager, and from 1971 to 1990, he served as a Regional Game Manager. Wildlife Resources is a division of the Utah Natural Resources state agency. Additionally, Mr. Kimball has served on a variety of state and county environmental committees. Mr. Kimball received his B.S. in Zoology from the University of Miami.
As a Member of the Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission, Mr. Kimball will work with four other members of the commission to coordinate the implementation of the mitigation and conservation measures of the Central Utah Project Completion Act of 1992 between federal and state fish, wildlife and recreation agencies.
