Visit to North Korea by Dr. William J. Perry

Dr. William J. Perry, Special Advisor to the President and Secretary of State and U.S. North Korea Policy Coordinator, and Ambassador Wendy R. Sherman, Counselor of the Department of State, will visit Pyongyang, Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) May 25-28 with a small team of U.S. officials. The visit is intended to allow Dr. Perry and his team to assess DPRK views first-hand as they complete the policy review the President and Secretary of State asked them to conduct.
