PRESIDENT CLINTON NAMES DAVID IBARRA AS A MEMBER OF THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE ACADEMY BOARD OF VISITORS

The President today announced his intent to appoint David Ibarra as a Member of the United States Air Force Academy, Board of Visitors.

Mr. David Ibarra of Salt Lake City, Utah, is the founder and president of Executing the Numbers, Inc., a management consulting company providing training to operations managers in the areas of strategic planning, organizing, executing and measuring results. Mr. Ibarra served a four year term on the Private Industry Council for Salt Lake and Tooele counties in Utah. Mr. Ibarra was also a past member of the Central Region Council on Workforce Services. Mr. Ibarra was a member of the United States Air Force Reserves, and received an honorable discharge as a staff sergeant in 1975.

The United States Air Force Academy, Board of Visitors provides recommendations to the President regarding the Academy's curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods, the students' morale and discipline as well as other matters relating to the Academy.
