The White House is pleased to announce that Hungarian President Arpad Goncz will pay a State Visit to Washington, D.C. from June 7-9. Since 1989, President Goncz has played a pivotal role in Hungary's successful efforts to build a vibrant democracy and free-market economy. The two presidents will discuss Hungary's engagement in NATO, the situation in Kosovo and efforts to stabilize Southeast Europe over the long term.
