STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY

Lake Mission to Ethiopia and Eritrea

President Clinton has asked former National Security Advisor Anthony Lake to return to the Horn of Africa. He will arrive in Addis Ababa Wednesday, November 11. His talks in Addis Ababa and Asmara this week are part of the ongoing effort by the United States and other parties, particularly the Organization of African Unity, to help settle peacefully the border dispute between Ethiopia and Eritrea.
