Tipper and I were deeply saddened today to learn of the tragic passing of former Congresswoman Bella Abzug.

Bella Abzug will be long remembered for her many contributions to America and the world. Whether Ms. Abzug was serving as a Congresswoman, or fighting for women's rights here and abroad, she clearly made a difference in the lives of many people. America is better off today because of Bella Abzug's work.
