                      Visit of President Fidel Ramos
                    of the Republic of the Philippines

At the invitation of President Clinton, President Fidel Ramos of the Republic of the Philippines will visit Washington, D.C., April 8-10. President Ramos will meet with the President and other senior Administration officials to discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues, including the economic situation in Asia and ways to strengthen the close ties between the United States and the Republic of the Philippines.
