Bloody Sunday Inquiry

We welcome the British Government's announcement today establishing an official commission to make an independent inquiry into the circumstances of Bloody Sunday, the terrible tragedy that took place 26 years ago. This is an important, and timely, initiative to come to terms with the past and help the people of Northern Ireland look to the future and reconciliation as they negotiate the terms of an agreement for a lasting peace in that troubled land.
