WHITE HOUSE CHIEF OF STAFF

We are attempting to resolve all matters in the remaining appropriations bills. In the context of the negotiations of the appropriations bills, controversial issues such as Mexico City and the census will of course have to be discussed and resolved. The necessary resolution of legislative issues including Mexico City and the census is not linked to the passage or failure to pass Fast Track legislation.
