President Clinton today promoted Stephanie S. Streett to Assistant to the President and Director of Presidential Scheduling. She will continue to supervise the Presidential scheduling operation as well as manage all domestic and foreign travel, daily appointments, and long term planning.
Streett has served since 1995 as Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Presidential Scheduling. From 1993 until 1995 she was Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Scheduling. Prior to joining the Administration, Streett worked for the Presidential Transition, Clinton/Gore '92 Presidential Campaign and the Clinton Presidential Exploratory Committee. Streett worked on Capitol Hill for the Senate Budget Committee and has also served as Congressional Liaison for the Young Democrats of America. Streett is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
