         VICE PRESIDENT MEETS KAZAKSTANI PRESIDENT IN NEW YORK

NEW YORK-- Vice President Al Gore today met with Kazakstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev while in New York for the United Nations General Assembly Special Session on Environment and Development. The Vice President and the President discussed a range of bilateral and multilateral issues, including cooperation in the commercial and non-proliferation areas.
