STATEMENT BY THE VICE PRESIDENT ON OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING CASE

Since there is another trial pending, I will not comment on the jury's decision.

I know Americans are grateful to the jurors for the time and effort they put into this long ordeal, grateful for the judge for the dignity provided in the courtoom, grateful to the prosecutor and his team for their courage in presenting the people's case.

All Americans' hearts go to the families of the victims and rescue workers who are still healing. Justice can help the healing process, but it can never end their pain.
