STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY

                    Visit by President Gligorov of the
                   Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

President Clinton has invited President Kiro Gligorov of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia to Washington for a working visit on June 17. President Gligorov has accepted. This will be the first meeting between the two leaders, who will discuss a wide range of bilateral and regional issues and review the overall security situation in the south Balkans.
