Visit of the President of Uzbekistan

The President is pleased to announce that President Islam A. Karimov of Uzbekistan has accepted his invitation to meet in Washington on June 25th. This meeting is a sign of the deepening relationship between the two countries. The two presidents will discuss key political, economic, and security issues between the two countries as well as developments in Central Asia and more broadly.
