THE PRESIDENT NAMES AMBASSADOR TO THE SEYCHELLES

The President today announced his intent to nominate Harold Walter Geisel of Chicago, Illinois, a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Minister-Counselor, to serve concurrently and without additional compensation as Ambassador to the Seychelles. Mr. Geisel was nominated on March 6, 1996, to be Ambassador to the Republic of Mauritius and to the Federal and Islamic Republic of the Comoros.
