PRESIDENT NOMINATES ROBERT E. MORIN TO THE SUPERIOR COURT OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
The President today nominated Robert E. Morin to serve on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
Morin, 42, is a partner with the Washington, D.C. law firm of Fisher, Morin & Hansen, where he has a criminal and civil litigation practice. Prior to forming his present partnership, he was an attorney with the Office of Public Defender in Rockville, Maryland. Morin earned his B.A. degree from the University of Massachusetts and his J.D. degree from Catholic University. He and his wife, Martha Tomich, have two children and reside in Washington, D.C.
