PRESIDENT NOMINATES GARY A. FENNER TO UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT
The President today nominated Gary A. Fenner to serve on the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Fenner, 48, has been a judge on the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District, since 1988 and has been Chief Judge since 1994. Previously, he was a judge on the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri. Prior to taking the bench, Fenner was a partner with the law firm of Shoemaker, Summers & Fenner and an Assistant City Attorney for the city of St. Joseph. Fenner earned his J.D. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and his B.A. degree from the University of Kansas in Lawrence. He and his wife, Susan Wolski, reside in Parkville.
