STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY

President to Attend Czech and Slovak Museum Dedication in Iowa Meet with Czech President Havel and Slovak President Kovac

President Clinton will attend the Dedication of the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on October 21. He also will meet with Czech President Vaclav Havel and with Slovak President Michal Kovac, who will be attending the Dedication. The three leaders will discuss the steady process of integrating Central Europe's democracies into the Transatlantic community and the critical importance of sustaining democratic and market economic reforms. President Clinton also will meet with members of the Czech American and Slovak American communities.
