PRESIDENT CLINTON NAMES FRANK POLICARO JR. AS U.S. MARSHAL FOR THE

WESTERN DISTRICT OF PENNSYLVANIA

President Clinton today announced his intent to nominate Frank Policaro Jr. to be the United States Marshal for the western district of the state of Pennsylvania for a four-year term.

Policaro brings to his new position a strong background in law enforcement. Since 1976 he has been the sheriff of Beaver County, Pa. For 20 years Policaro served his community as a police officer in Beaver Falls, Pa.

Policaro, born in Beaver County, Pa., in 1932, currently resides in Beaver Falls, Pa. He is married with five children.
