                   PRESIDENT NOMINATES BRUCE W. GREER
                      TO U.S. DISTRICT COURT BENCH

The President today nominated Bruce W. Greer to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Greer, 47, is the founder and president of the Miami law firm of Greer, Homer & Bonner, P.A. He maintains a complex civil litigation practice. Prior to the formation of this firm, Greer was a founding partner and shareholder with Arky, Freed, Stearns, Watson & Greer. He earned a B.S. degree from the University of Florida and a J.D. degree from Columbia University School of Law. A life-long resident of Florida, Greer and his wife, Evelyn, have three children and reside in Miami.
