STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY

The President is pleased with the New Jersey Supreme Court decision upholding "Megan's Law." The 1994 Crime Bill includes a provision modeled after "Megan's Law." Today communities will breathe a sigh of relief knowing that their security and safety are a top priority for law enforcement. This decision will enhance the ability of every community to fight crime.
