CLINTON NAMES TWO TO CREDIT STANDARDS ADVISORY COMMITTEE

President Clinton today announced his intention to appoint Tom Daly as Chair and Eleanor Chang as a member of the Board of Directors of the Credit Standards Advisory Committee.

Ms. Chang is President of the Asian-Pacific American Bankers' Association. She previously served as a Senior Vice President for Bank of America. Ms. Chang received a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Mount Holyoke College in 1978 and a master of science degree in business administration from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1980.

Mr. Daly is a real estate developer and entrepeneur in southern Florida. His latest development is the Country Club Estates in Aventura, Florida.

The Credit Standards Advisory Committee is responsible for review of the credit standards and lending practices of insured depository institutions and supervision of such standards and practices by federal financial regulators.
