PRESIDENT CLINTON NAMES EAMON M. KELLY AS A MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL
SECURITY EDUCATION BOARD
The President today announced his intent to nominate Eamon M. Kelly as a member of the National Security Education Board (NSEB).
The NSEB develops criteria for awarding scholarships, fellowships, and grants in order to meet the changing needs of national security education. In addition, the Board recommends ways to encourage interest in jobs in Government agencies that have a national security role.
Dr. Kelly has been President of Tulane University since 1981. He spent the previous decade at the Ford Foundation, where he managed one of their major investment programs. The Ford Foundation ranks Tulane as a premier international studies research institution.
