PRESIDENT CLINTON NOMINATES MANUEL TRINIDAD PACHECO AS MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL SECURITY EDUCATION BOARD
President Clinton today announced his intent to nominate Manuel Trinidad Pacheco as a Member of the National Security Education Board.
The National Security Education Board develops criteria for awarding scholarships, fellowships, and grants. In addition, the Board recommends ways to encourage interest in jobs in Government agencies that have a national security role.
Dr. Pacheco is currently the President of the University of Arizona. He is a former Executive Director of the Bilingual Education Center in Kingsville, Arizona, and professor of multicultural education at San Diego University.
