Statement of Senior Advisor to the President Bruce R. Lindsey

Documents relating to the Whitewater Development Corporation, which the President on December 23, 1993 voluntarily agreed to turn over to the Department of Justice, will begin to be delivered tomorrow by his attorney David E. Kendall. The documents to be delivered include those relating to Whitewater which were in Vincent Foster's office at the time of his death.

On December 23, 1993, Mr. Kendall, in order to assure the integrity of the documents and the privacy of the process as provided for by federal law, requested the protection of a subpoena. Pursuant to Mr. Kendall's request, a subpoena was served to produce the documents in question by January 18, 1994. All documents will be delivered by that date.
