The President signed the following bills yesterday:
Enrolled Bill H.R. 38 - Which establishes the 57,000-acre
Jemez National Recreation Area in the Sante Fe National Forest in
northern New Mexico.
Enrolled Bill H.R. 2608-Extends the authority for the
Commerce Departments Quarterly Financial Report program through
September 30, 1998.
Enrolled Bill H.R. 1381-Extends by two years the period in
which Federal funds may be provided to the National Forest
Foundation (NFF), a nonprofit corporation, and (2) clarifies that
these funds may be used to cover project expenses.
