BACKGROUND INFO
On March 3, 1993, President Clinton asked Vice President Gore to lead the effort to effect real change in the federal government. Gore's NPR Task Force report makes specific recommendations for: reducing costs and waste; changing the way government operates; and making government more responsive and effective.
WHAT IS AVAILABLE -- AND HOW?
The 180-page overview report >From Red Tape to Results: Creating a Government that Works Better and Costs Less< is now available electronically, on CD-ROM, and in print. Additional reports (executive summary and 38 monographs) will be released periodically using the methods described here.
