STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY

President Clinton will visit Seoul, Korea July 10-11, 1993. The President will meet with President Kim Young Sam to discuss a wide range of bilateral issues, including U.S. and Korean interests in promoting regional security, democracy and economic growth. The President will visit American troops stationed at the DMZ. President Clinton values the close alliance between the United States and Korea and looks forward to discussing with President Kim ways to strengthen the relationship.
