PRIME MINISTER MIYAZAWA OF JAPAN TO VISIT THE WHITE HOUSE
At the invitation of the President, Japanese Prime Minister Kiichi Miyazawa will visit the White House on April 16 for a meeting and working lunch.
The U.S. - Japan relationship is one of America's most important alliances. A number of global, regional and bilateral issues will be on the agenda, including preparations for the G-7 Summit which Japan will host in Tokyo this summer.
The President looks forward to the visit of the Prime Minister and to strengthening our partnership with Japan as we address these issues.
